Challenge #4: Responsive and Scalable Text Challenge

Bobby Bailey
The Challenge
Increase the text size and zoom in on your website.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open Your Website:
Launch your website in your preferred browser on a desktop or laptop computer. - Adjust the Zoom Level:
- Use your browser’s zoom functionality (e.g., press Ctrl + Plus on Windows or Command + Plus on macOS) or adjust text size via the browser settings.
- Experiment with different zoom levels to see how the design adapts.
- Examine the Layout:
- Scroll through the entire site, checking key areas such as the header, navigation, main content, forms, and footer.
- Observe how text scaling affects the overall layout. Pay close attention to text that might overflow its container, elements that become misaligned, or any sections where content might be cut off.
- Test Interactive Elements:
- Interact with buttons, links, and form fields. Ensure they remain accessible and easy to activate despite the increased text size.
- Verify that the zooming doesn’t cause overlapping elements that could interfere with the user experience.
Reflection Questions:
- Layout Usability: Does the overall layout remain usable and legible when the text is enlarged?
- Content Accessibility: Does any content get cut off, overlap, or become inaccessible?
- User Experience: Is the site still user-friendly for individuals who rely on larger text sizes due to visual impairments?
- Consistency: Do all pages and elements adjust consistently to the text size changes?
